You Got It Right (or shorted YGIR) is a 5-channel Amiga mix
of R&B and modern Jazz. The kind of jazz that is played in
clubs these days. The rhythm might feel a bit boring but
you'll realize that the style is exactly what you hear in most
jazz influenced club music these days, I assure you.
Being 03:37 long makes the track quite enjoyable to listen to.
A lot of effort has been put into making this track this good.
Bear in mind that jazz is a complicated genre and rare to do on
the Amiga, but not impossible. If you get the kind of jazz you
want to do on the Amiga right, you get incredible results!
As always, all my Amiga music is composed by me -
Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Norway, using my
AmigaOne 500 aka SAM460ex running AmigaOS 4.1
Final Edition Update 1, using TheMaestrix AHI tool
and OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c. CodeAudio is
also used to convert AIFF to both FLAC and MP3.
MP3 for YouTube and FLAC for SoundCloud ;)
16-bit stereo samples are always used in my composition,
but this time I have used some of the ST samples and the
Walkabout Music Samples to compose this track. An el-guitar,
some trumpets and 2 saxophones have been used, as well as
2 really groovy bass. The track is surprisingly realistic!
A 4 difference jump in rhythm of 90A and 906 have been used
to create this unique style of R&B and Jazz. Secondary tempo
is set to 130, giving the right speed to the track. Hear for yourself.
