Midnight Sun @ 2019 by Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Midnight Sun is a 10-channel Rock Ballad composed by
me - Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Bergen City of Norway.
The track is the second from my "Samplicity" collection of total
13 great Amiga modules, all composed using my AmigaOne 500,
also known as SAM460ex and OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c.
16-bit Stereo RIFF WAVE samples from Walkabout Music samples
are also used, as always the case with most of my Amiga music.
Spent a couple of days making this very fine Rock ballad. It's probably
not the greatest you have heard, but not the worse either. A fairly decent
Amiga track that allows you to truly hear how well more than 4 channels
can be used. In this case, 10-channels are used with impressive results.
You'll be able to hear several guitars, bass guitar, drums and guitar accords
used to give the track a really nice depth to it. Hope you'll like it as I do.
You'll need at least a 68020 Amiga and playing the Paula chip in 14 bit quality
to get a minimum recommendation for listening to this Amiga track. A powerful
PPC Amiga with a great AHI-compatible soundcard is preferable. Something like
SAM460ex or more powerful than that. A Vampire 68080 system can also play such
a multi-track very nicely, although never had a Vampire system, but should work nicely.
Hope you'll like this track as I do. Enjoy!
