This is the third in the series of my Castlevania mods.
The first two were "Symphony of the Night" and "The Tragic
Prince". Check them out at TiS!
As always, the focus of this music is to capture as much
Castlevania, Transylvania, Richter, Alucard blah blah as
possible.
Hmm.. why is this song called "Allegro in Castlevania"?
A week back, I stumbled across a mod called "Allegro in E-minor"
which was remixed by Amanda (check out her mods at
http://www.angelfire.com/nj/amandamods) and it got me thinking.
Its an excellent piece of classical music with a typical
darkish feel to it. So I thought, "hmmm... this just might
work", hence Allegro in Castlevania was created ^_^
The first 16 seconds are a direct rip of the original song,
i.e Allegro in E-minor, note by note. I wanted to make my own
intro but then it wouldn't be Allegro, would it? The rest of
the song is my own creation so enjoy it!!
I won't take it away from Amanda though, if it weren't for her
remix of the original Allegro, this song wouldn't have been
created. So please, all you guys and gals out there, check out
her mods and visit her at TiS. She has EXCELLENT taste and her
tracking skill is improving all the time.
I'd really appreciate if someone drops a line saying that there
should be more Castlevania mods out there. If you want more of this
stuff, please let me know CUZ I LOVE THE GAME!!
GOOD PART:
This is what you should be visualizing while listening to
the music :)
Scenario: Alucard is about to square up with Richter in Dracula's
chamber (remember Dracula X?). All of this is happening in an ANIME
atmosphere (VERY IMPORTANT!!)
0:00 - 0:16
Alucard enters the chamber (Allegro playing in background).
0:20 - 1:10
Richter is sitting on Dracula's throne. Alucard asks for his
father (Dracula), but Richter is acting very strange. Instead
of helping, he stands in Al's way, stopping him from going any
further. Obviously confused, Alucard tries to reason with Richter
who is under Shaft's spell (the dark priest).
Hostility is inevitable.
1:13 -1:55 (here it comes!)
Both unsheath their weapons! Looking at each other face to face,
Richter makes the first move by unleashing a lightning storm, one hand
facing the sky and striking an extremely awesome pose =). The skies turn
black and Richter eminates an electric glow. Lightning sears across the
air and strikes at Alucard who falls down to the ground (listen for rain!).
Now on his knees, Alucard gasps for breath while Richter looks on smiling,
his eyes glowing blue with power.
1:55 - 2:54
Richter moves in for the kill as a hurt and bleeding Alucard lies helpless
in front of him. The Mystic Whip in his hands, he walks almost casually to
his victim, laughing and taunting. Richter cracks the whip at Alucard and
snares his neck, choking him to death. Almost fainting, Alucard uses all
his strength to summon his mist form and vanishes from the scene with a
loud hiss (2:28). (silent part) Richter starts searching all over the
chamber like mad. The silence driving him insane, he starts becoming
careless. Now it is Alucard's turn to strike...
2:54 - 3:15
Alucard reappears! Flying high above the room, his magnificent vampire
robe giving a magical red glow, he clasps his hands around the fabric of
his cape and pulls it all around him. Richter sees Alucard and smiles. He
knows what is about to happen. He is ready for it. His hands tighten around
the Mystic Whip as Alucard prepares for the descent. Alucard lets go of
the cape and points his sword at Richter's heart, diving at lightining
speed!
3:15 - 3:40
The sword pierces thru Richter's shoulder as he tries to avoid the attack.
Bloodlust now at its peak in Alucard's body, he starts to strike at
Richter Belmont's body. Again and again and again, each blow even more
merciless than than the previous one. Richter screams with pain and anger
but it is of no use now. The prince of darkness has been angered... and
he's unstoppable!
3:40 - 4:05
The bloodlust ends. Alucard controls himself and stops while Richter's
battered body lies at his feet. He checks to see if Shaft's spell has
been broken. But as soon as he kneels to check his companion's condition,
Richter springs up and wraps the Mystic Whip around Alucard's throat once
more! This time, there can be no escape...
4:05 - 4:25 (crazy evil part)
Richter's evil laughter fills the room as Alucard falls to his knees.
Pulling harder on the whip with all his strength, he starts to sense
victory as the vampire aura around Alucard's body starts to fade away.
"BEG FOR MERCY YOU DEMON BASTARD! BEG!!", yells Richter.
4:25 - 4:59
Alucard's eyes gaze at the sky as his body starts becoming numb. BUT
WAIT! As the lightning flashes across the sky, it reveals a shiny
transparent orb. Shaft's orb floats above Richter's head, invisible
to the naked eye. It has been controlling him all along. Alucard
summons his Blood Sword and slowly raises his finger toward the orb.
The sword responds to its master's call and speeds toward the pointed
direction as Richter, trying to break Alucard's neck, looks on.
With a loud crack, metal and glass collide. It is over...
YEEEHAAWW! And that's that!! Hope all of you liked this little story
and also the song ^_^. Please don't forget to e-mail and tell me if you
want more Castlevania. This mod has been specifically made for Mansoor Riaz
who helped me out a hell of a lot in making a Castlevania manga and also
for introducing me to Dracula X in the first place.

encouraging me to go on. Nancy, Mansoor, Sheraz and my bro. You're the
best friends one could hope for ^_^.

Thanx also go to the guys whose samples I've ripped. About 90% of the
samples are ripped and they're from so many (like a million) places that
I can't really remember where I got them from. All I know is that the
voice samples were taken from Heatseaker's "Neotokyo", the crickets
chirping were taken from Amanda's mod "Evening" and that's it.
If any of you guys recognize your samples in here, I want to thank you!

Lastly, an apology to all classical music lovers for completely mutilating
Allegro :(. I love classical music too, but this music is a reflection of
my passion for Castlevania. Sorry if it offends someone.
