I'm going back to my roots with some thrash metal here; I've done
too much death metal recently. It's inspired a lot by Testament's last
album "The Gathering". The vocals don't fit coz' they sound like death
metal vox when in the song (they sound much more like thrash vocs on their
own). This was going to be for the DTC 2 compo, but I decided that "Burn
It All Down" was better :)

All guitars by me using an Ibanez RG270DX, a Jim Dunlop CryBaby, and a
Zoom GFX-707 multieffect signal raper. Not to be torn to pieces without my
permission. Vox done with just a mic and a sock to remove the "pops" :)

BTW: there's an interesting thing I use here: for just short growls, you
barely notice the effect if you drop the sampling frequency to 11KHz
instead of 22KHz; take a look at the vocal samples in this song to see
what I mean. This can reduce your filesize a bit. This is only my second
attempt at these "Hetfield"-style vocals, so don't bitch too much.
