Well, here's something a bit different :) Made after listening to a lot of
AeuK's stuff; some lo-fi but heavy-as-fuck sludge/deathgrind combo.
There's various other influences in here, like some Incantation influence
and Napalm Death bits here and there, as well as some subtle Morticiany
bits.

The guitar sound is very satosfyingly brutal here, I think, it has a sort
of sewer-pipe reverb and extreme heaviness/brutality that I got from using
my Zoom pedals' pitchshift effect to downtune my guit another 4 half-steps
from C to G# or thereabouts I think. This also gave the sewer pipe effect
which I enhanced a bit more with a very short delay mixed really low so
that it's barely audible, and echoing it in IT as well. Also, shitloads of
treble was used in the EQ of course :) Anyway, it's very grindy and kinda
AeuK-like, and once again is amplified way over the clipping limit and
reduced to 4-bit for extra sampleraped brutality...

So I guess all of the above means that this could be the successor to
"Chainsaw Pleasure" and "Governed Mentality"...with a bit of "Agony"
thrown in as well :) Hmmm...this also reminds me a bit of one of the best
lo-fi tracked grindisms I have ever heard - Dormant's "Fundamental
Desescration" - a true masterpiece IMO.

I guess this is becoming a bit of a style that I'm slipping into here -
whereas in the psat I've always done two or three songs in one style and
then moved on to something different, or tried to change the style
somewhat, I've been knocking out a lot of this sort of stuff with the same
feel to it. And my fascination with lo-fi grind is increasing daily :)
Although, I suppose I have always done some Corpse-metal through most of
my various style-phases...right from the first "Hail The Dead" up to the
stuff on the "Outr Of The Duat" disk...and there's more in the pipeline
right now - about 4 or 5 unfinished Corpse-mods waiting in my
"work-in-progress" directory...and two guest vocals/solos on some of
Corpse's own songs...Anyway, enough babbling & bullshit, let's just say
that I'm starting to love this sort of catchy, straightforward (well, kind
of anyway...) songwriting...and it does actually feel like songwriting
doing this style, where doing e.g. Corpse stuff I feel more like I'm
arranging and composing it rather than creating more realistic stuff...I
mean, whoever heard of a band with 18 guitarists :)...so this has 2
guitarists, vocalist, drummer and bassist. A normalm band, and no extra
atmospheric shit, either :)
