This is the opening track of the Consumed musicdisk...

Well...I haven't done a drum intro for years now, so I thought it was
about time for a new one. This is kind of an experiment to see if I can
get a more catchy style out of this egyptian scale while still sounding
evil...which is why it sounds kinda weird, and almost nu-metally in places
(urgh). Intro is kinda Sepultura influenced I think...maybe? I dunno. I
don't listen to as much Sepultura as I should.

Anyway, I paid more attention to each instrument individually, and I
tried to give all the instruments a bit of a solo section here, and thanx
to Seraph Obscuriis's new picked bass, even the bass has a nice Alex
Webster-like solo bit. Damn, that bass sounds good :)

I also tried to ditch some of the chromaticism I use a lot in my
Corpse-tunes as well, although I used Corpse's trick of using the sample
offset to have 4 rhythm guitars to beef up the low end. There are 6
guitars at most times in this song. 

And, I am finally happy with my drum samples. For a while now, I have been
thinking "Why did I stop using that snare?" or "That kick drum from song X
sounds good", but I never changed anything. Now I have, and I'm happy - a
beefy bass drum, a snare that is perfect for blastbeats, and also toms
without too much reverb.

No vocals coz' they wouldn't fit the song. And I have no Egyptian
inspiration yet.
