The first test of this sample set. I'm impressed with myself :) Damned
production sux on this; not enough bass and too much treble...

I like to think that this is one of my more complex songs yet; and maybe
one of my more abstract ones as well. No structure as such, just ideas
built upon.

The title roughly translates as "Apep, The Great God, Lord Of The
Heavens"; it's adapted from the original phrase "Re Retjer-Aa Neb-Pet"
which means "Ra, The Great God, Lord Of The Heavens". Of course Ra
IS actually the lord of the heavens, but I thought it would be quite
blasphemous to put Apep's name there instead (Apep is the ancient egyptian
version of Satan [the god of evil and chaos], and Ra is their version
of the Christian God). Muhuhahahaaahh...

Only a few vocals here because I wanted to concentrate on the music, to
sort of make it flow through a doom metal part into an aggressive middle
section with chanting, and then into a full-on blastbeat death/grind part.
Maybe similar to the way Corpse does things...as usual :P.

This is also a good example of using the tempo/speed controls properly; I
see that many trackers often track in speed 03 and tempo >200 when they
don't actually need to. I've been guilty of this in the past, and so have
people like Corpse and Ackers. Notice that I use the note retrigger
command (Qxx) a lot instead of using an increased speed. I only increase
the speed when a blastbeat is required. This means that I don't have as
many 128-row patterns - they mostly stay at 64 rows. It makes life a bit
easier :)

All guitars, vocals, Choir, Kettle Drum, and Gong are mine - free to use
if you credit me for them and put me in your greetz list :)
Bass by Inverted Cross - free to use (same as above)
Drums collected from many sources
Dunno who made the strings...
