Another experiment in brutality. Yeah, it was influenced a lot by a
certain old XM that some of you may know of...

I compressed the guitar sound before it hit the amp here - tightness was
not *THAT* essential, but a fuckload of distortion was, so the setup went
like this:

Guitar -> Zoom GFX-707 (compressor) -> Amp (Valvestate) FX loop out -> EQ
Pedal -> Park practice amp -> Mic -> Soundcard

Long winded, but worth it for the brutality, don't you think?

The music here is kinda death-black I think; there's a sorta
Incantation-type feel in places. I even got a nice sounding delay on the
vox for once - most of my attempts at Death-style delayed vox always
turned out crap because I never delayed it enough. This just sounds great,
and really evil as fuck IMO.
