Background =
= PdG class Sattelite Orbiting a class C planet on the
outermost Boundary of our Quadrant of the universe, is the most
heavily populated and thriving space city in the United Fedration
of Planets. The name of this Outpost is Crythania P4, Known to the
inhabitants and all who know of it as: The Cosmotropolis*
========================================================
Prelude =
= The Outpost Crythania P4 is renound for its research into the
substance known as Thorium 9, A fourth phase substance
able to stably combine and control matter and Anti-matter
material. In just 49 years, Technologies such as Space Folding,
Long Range teleportation and Dimension shifting have been the fruits
of the research into Thorium 9. Due to the value of such a substance,
the substance Thorium 9 is guarded using the most sophisticated security
and monitoring systems ever devised by man. if in the wrong hands, This
material and the Knowledge of its use would enable any madman to take over
the Federation and control the Known universe.

Apocalypse =
= Recent wars between The Federation and an unclassified alien species
known only by their blitzkrieg tactics in war, The "Racers" as they are
known as, has spread to the Daltrous sector where the Cosmotropolis is
stationed. The city was Invaded and plundered of ALL Thorium Technologies
in an epic battle. Federation's Leaders feared the worst and submitted to
the rule of the Racers, in the fear of total elimination. The Racers planed
to send a Sub Space missile loaded with 25 tonnes of unstable Thorium9 to earth
unless they surrendered. 12 years later, Research by the Racers produced
a startling discovery with Thorium9. They have discovered a way to Skip into
the Theorized Second Universe. But due to the greed and unprecautionary
practices in experiments involved in testing the new technology, A Quantum
implosion occured while the Racers scientists were attempting to scan through
the gateway. A resulting Paradox occured where the test site was situated,
800 light years away from the Cosmotropolis. All people onboard the
Cosmotropolis were evacuated to surrounding sectors, but fearing total
anihilation of both universes. Both Racers and Federation
(What was left of it) Forgot the differences and banded together to solve
the problem, The paradox, which was growing at a slow Geometri
rate, would very soon reach the Cosmotropolis and destroy it.
Since Cosmotropolis was the only research station in the whole universe
dealing with Thorium9, If they could not stop it before the city
was destroyed, all hopes are lost and both universes will be doomed.

Conclusion =
= Scientists from both sides developed a Thorium Antimatter Implosion
device, So Large, they had to demolish the main part of the
Cosmotropolis to house the large amounts of Thorium9. The entire
city was a Giant Bomb in essence. With only weeks left to perfect
the device, Plans were made to destroy the Geosynchronous thrusters
of the station and slingshot the giant bomb into the paradox, which
now was the size of a Red Dwarf. Antimatter Subspace and
Extra Dimensional shields were put in place to protect the city as it
was sent through the event Horizon of the paradox into the core.
Once detonatated, In theory, It would Counteract the effect of
matter-antimatter combination. If not, the paradox would not be
affected and will grow and grow until both universes are no more.
Final preparatios complete, The station's orbit was interupted and sent
hurtling into the paradox. The whole known universe's population stood
in abject silence in anticipation of the outcome. The Cosmotropolis survived
entry into the Event Horizon. And reached the core...



The resulting explosion stabalized the Matter - Antimatter paradox
and sealed the breach in the Universal gateway.


All Thorium9 research was abandoned and all records destroyed.
A Planet coring Ultimate missile was deployed to Crythania9
to destroy all traces of Thorium. The fact that Thorium no
longer posed a threat of the situation re occuring brought
the Federation and the Racers lives hope for the future.
But no one knows if the Thorium9 is present anywhere else in
the universe. The possibility, though unlikely as it is, lurks
menacingly in the minds of all leaders of all peoples.
for now... The safety of 2 universes has been secured.

Back this time with THE most spectacular stream of
Mind Bending music I have ever produced, and also the longest!
I must add, also the Biggest :(  5mb Uncompressed. But the mp3
would be around 11mb so its not so bad I suppose.

System Requirements and settings...

To be played in ModPLug Player for best sound,
Set Polyphony for 40voices or higher. Preferably 40
If you dont have a CPU of 166mhz or higher with MMX
you will have GREAT difficulty playing this properly.
Soundcard needed: Tracked on an Aureal Vortex A3D 1
Sound Chipset with Surround so if you have one of those
you are set. Anything better will also Kik Ass.
