Dark Worlds: Part 3
**The Sky Fortress**

The Story Continues...

Emerging from the portal, you regain youself to find
you are standing on a large platform. Looking around
you see clouds, more clouds, no land. YOu turn around
to discover a long pathway heading off as far as you can
see. Since there was no other way to go, you follow it.
It runs along for hours. There are no rails along the side
except for a kerb. Falling into the vast unknown of clouds
below would be not good. Eventually you reach the end.
A Large fortress looms over you now ontop a Huge Floating
atol. The fortress is magnificant. No sooner had you
arrived, than the huge great doors opened. 2 white cloaked
women in beautiful jewels came out and escorted you inside.
"You have been expected, the great one will see you now"
They say to you. You rather enjoyed their beautiful
appearances. Inside the great fortress, the artistry is beyond
awe of anything you have ever seen. Marble, gold, jade and
opal ornaments, wall hangings, of fine silk and value are
everywhere. This place was a small heaven. You are brought
into a large throneroom infront of a figure you surmise is,
the great one. He is dressed in a white robe, with incredible
jewelry. "Welcome traveller, We have been expecting you..."

Over the next few hours you learn of your predicament. He
Explains to you about how every few Thousand years, Lord
Chython opens the gateway to home to allow a poor soul to
enter this realm of worlds and be played with. He tells of how
he detests this, and trys to help out to the best he can anyone
who stumbles through. he tells of how every world attached to the
seven portals is under a master spell in which he has placed the
world in to control any uprising against him. To be truely freed,
The spell must be broken.  he tells of 2 parts to a script which
has been long hidden. These scripts are scattered amongst a few
worlds, and that the only way for you to return to your home is
to find these and use them against Chython and destroy him.
No one has ever achived this, for around 70,000 years he has held
this realm in this state. The people cry for relief...

You tell him you wish to get home any way possible, even if it means
dying in the proccess. YOu tell him that you will find those scripts.
and free the people of this realm. He has great confidence in you.
Very few manage to make it this far, he senses you are strong. He holds
out his hand and shows you a small emerald amulet. He says that this is
the only thing that will be an effective weapon against Chython. The
scripts are needed before it can be used. No one has been able to find
these scripts ever. They are there, but hidden under great guard by
Chython's minions. Aquisition will not be easy. But is is possible...

You are even more determined to get home now more than ever. You take the
emerald Amulet and put it in your pack. You thank the Great One for all his
help. But you are curious to why he has not attmpted the quest. You ask...
he tells you that he did, and he failed. He was bannished from all other
worlds into this one where no one lived. Using some remaining powers of his,
he constructed this fortress, and managed to find some companionship. The
people here are all his family. He has been here for 47,000 years...

You thank him again. He turns his hands towards a window where you look out.
He tells you of the gateway back through the seven portals. It is long way away.
You gather your belongings and bid farewell... You fell enlightened of this
encounter, but also incredibly worried. This is a bigger mess than you thought.
Around 8 long hours of walking and you meet with the gateway. You move through
it and arrive back at the seven portals. You emerge at the far end of the
courtyard. Looking up at the statue of Chython in the middle, you notice
that his eyes are watching you still. You stare at him with hateful eyes for a
moment, Then progress to the nearest closed door. YOu are about to open the door
when suddenly a dark loud voice booms out of nowhere... "Many have tried, Many
have died... mortal, do not challenge me, for you will be destroyed." It came
from the statue. As soon as the voice stopped, the eyes stopped glowing down
on you, You stare at him with hateful eyes again, before turning around to
enter the next world. Your journey has gotten much harder, You wonder
wether you will make it home alive...



Dark Worlds Part 3. = The Sky Fortress.. I hope you are all enjoying following
along with this song/story series. im having so much fun writing it.
