Very Desecration-influenced, this one :) Back to the gore metal. Fuck the
Egyptian shit for a while. Let's get back to basics :) I suggest that if
you like this tune, then you go get Desecration's "Inhuman" album...plus
the T-shirt that says "I am fucking inhuman" on the back, like I have :)

Once again, a different guitar sound. It's still the micced amp mixed with
line-out from the pedal method, but I just moved the mic a little and used
the "Incantation" patch on my Zoom pedal. Sounds pretty cool and similar
to Desecration's sound to me. Very gorey. I recorded it at 18KHz for
change too. That way, I still get the higher treble that this sound
requires, but also a manageable filesize (although I did rape them
slightly...OK, so they're 4bit...I don't care).

This is slower than a lot of my recent stuff. Most of the recent ones have
been >220 bpm, but this is back to 180 bpm so that I can be technical
again. This is real heads-down, fucking death metal IMO. No extraneous
over production or too much widdling during the riffs (in other words,
less Decapitated and Aborted-style). This is pretty simple. Some of the
riffs are hard to play, but not too complicated. I concentrated on the
tune of it here, instead of hpow technical or brutal I could make it. I
also noticed that I've been neglecting my solos recently, so there is some
infernal sweeping and tapping in there this time, too, as requested by
AeuK & Nycto :) It's just a shame that I SUCK at sweep picking...

And I payed a lot of attention to the drums again in this one, trying to
imagine how a real drummer would play this. I actually recorded the
riffs and tracked all the drums and bass in this in 2.5 hours...which must
be a personal best :) I am VERY chuffed with the result of this, so for
2.5. hours work, I definitely can't complain...

Hmmm. The vocals on this kind suck coz of all the pops...and they just
aren't as good growly as they usually are. Ah well...next time maybe...
