This piece has an interesting story behind it. A friend of mine commissioned me to do the theme music for The Lord of the Flies. I thought it an odd request, but went through with it anyway, figuring it would be a fun challenge. I decided that it needed an appropriate name, and it occurred to me that it sounded like a prophet delivering his cryptic message. Please enjoy "The Prophet Speaks"! -Craig Stern, May '99
