SheepShyfter of Digital Amethyst Studio and
Nightfall Syndicate Records presents:
___________________________________________________________________________
My 24th release, my 18th DAS-release:
Gingerbread Lullaby 3
___________________________________________________________________________
Hi there! I know some of you have been waiting for it, and I'm sorry, but
at last, here it is! It has been a long time since my last release, I
know, but there are some reasons for it. Main reason is: Windows ME. IT
shouldn't be used under ME, I suppose... Nevertheless, I still use ME
and I fixed the problem, if some of you have problems with IT under ME,
please mail me, because I will be glad to help you. Another reason is
school, it's almost the end of the schoolyear while writing this, and the
last few weeks are the most busy weeks.
On May the 21st, I was tracking for one year now, and I'm quite surprised
about my cunning right now. I don't mean I'm the best tracker in the
scene of course, but if you have the time, take a listen to my first song
which you can find in my B-sides on Trax In Space. Using Impulse Tracker
for one day, I explored the program, I discovered things, and on the very
same day I released the song. I kept on discovering things, I kept on
practising, and so, I kept on improving. I hope you like my songs, and if
you do, please tell me. I would really appreciate it.
At the moment, I'm looking for members to reinforce my little crew
Nightfall Syndicate Records. If you're looking for a crew to join, please
send me an e-mail with your best song in it.
And another thing you can surely see is that I'm becoming a little bit
more serious. From now on, I will write some more thoughts, etc. It's
hard to become a good musician if you won't practise serious...
A really important thing I learned last year, is that you won't get a
good song, if you just fill it with effects and stuff. You should really
follow your heart and feelings and don't fill up the patterns just for
show. Some people think that songs are being judged by the number of
channels you use, filters, and all kind of that stuff. And by the way,
do you see any special things in this song? Not really, and I'm
satisfied about it like the way it is now, so why ruin it? And if you
like it, you should try Gingerbread Lullaby 1 and 2 too, because those
are structurally the same, I'm sure you'll like it!
Then, I want to like to thank some people. First of all, Sybe, for
always encouraging to make new songs, giving me new ideas, and more...
Then there is of course Gerrit aka Losch, same story as Sybe, can't live
without you, guys! Next is Incorrect Password, for which I made this
little song. I hope I made something cool in your eyes, m'friend! I
think I've succeeded with this song, like part one and two. And there
WILL be a next part, I promise you! Another person I would like to thank
is Acumen. He gave me alot of inspiration, and was (still is?) my great
example, and without his samples, this song wouldn't be here. That's
why I want to thank all other creators of samples too, especially the
great piano! I wish I knew who made that one...
Now, it is time to make an end on it, and continue with my regular
contact information. So let me wish you a nice day, and I hope I will
receive feedback of you! Until my next release...
Take care,
Marco Sijbesma, 13.06.2001

The greetings list gets longer everytime, so I won't put it down here in
