Well, here's my entry for the ModArchive #dalnet compo.  Boy, I do love
compos.  I've only entered a couple thus far, but I'm always trying to
finish a track up in time for another.

I started working on this track a little after midnight, on March 2, and
actually completed it somewhere between 6:00 and 7:00 AM that morning. 
It's not the shortest time frame I've ever tracked a song in, but it's
close.

This theme is derived from a few chords my friend Chris was hammering out
on a piano one time.  I took the theme he was playing, and expanded on it.
I've been promising to finish the song for him for several months, but in
fact I've really had no time or energy to devote to it until now.  So
Chris, your song is finished; this one's dedicated to you.  Now leave me
alone :)

Once I finished the track, I sent it to my friend Erica, who promptly tore
some holes in it, and forced me to realize some major bugs in it.  Again,
I was back to the drawing board once she pointed out the flaws.  I can
always count on her to find bugs in my tracks.  She also named this track
for me, which is a good thing, because I had a really stupid name for it
to begin with.  Thanks for all the help Erica, I really do appreciate you.

Well, just so all of you know, this marks the 100th track I've done so
far.  Most of them really suck, but I'm pleased with a few, and I've no
intention od stopping here.  Every time I write a new song, I find another
piece of myself floating around, and put it to music.  I hope you enjoy
this track, as I've spent countless nights laying around the apartment,
trying to figure out how this theme is going to come out.

Thanks to hang0wer and velocity for hosting this compo, and thanks to
everyone who takes the time to listen to my track.  Special thanks also to
Damien Blond for keeping up the ModArchive, and LittleElk, who always has
something good to say about the music I write.
