Composed in a few weeks period in february, 2001.
No regular greets anymore, but I would like to thank Xerxes
of course, for making the first minute of the song, and also
for encouraging me throughout this project.
About the song
When Xerxes had just changed to the modplugtracker, he sent
me a tiny tune he had done just as a little test in the tracker.
I listened to it a few times, and found a tenderness
in the piece that fascinated me. I asked him if he would allow
me to make a full song of it, and that was ok. It was truly an
interesting experience to work with something so structured and
natural as these chords and the beat used in this song.
I am quite sure I learned a lot from this, it gave me a nice
possibility to do something with my normal unorganized songs
that have no constructive progression. This song has been a
pleasure to make.
