A module for the Secret Sample Santa contest in the Tracker Music Discord server, hosted by SVL. The rules are that
you post a sample pack for someone to use, and you get someone else's sample pack. Eventually, you vote for the coolest
sounding module. The point is not to win. It's to have fun and show your creativity. :)
The samples used are from Sammie herself. It's my second time attempting to use chip samples, and I'll be brutally
frank with myself, I still suck at it. I took almost more than 3 hours to try to finish my entry. I have poor time
management when it comes to getting a cool melody idea to use. But I believe with time I'll get better at time
management.
So in the end, I tried for a chill cracktro. It sounds a bit cool, but a bit off because I used a weird combination of
9 ticks and a tempo of 150. I hope this wins me a weirdness award. And, I hope I pulled off making a chill cracktro.
I wanted to add a lead pattern but I didn't have enough time. Pattern 3 and 4 are those unused lead patterns, with them
being very unfinished because I didn't have enough. I also didn't use the lead sample at all! Well, there goes the
variety. Still managed to use most of the samples though! (7 in total)
Special thanks to Sammie! She let me do my entry earlier because the contest starts at 19:00 GMT, which would be 03:00
SGT for me. So she let me start at 16:30 GMT, or 00:30 SGT instead. Thanks for saving some of my sleep girl. Sorry for the
hassle!
