this music was rather thoroughly inspired by missing organ's "licking away
difference" from total eclipse's "the way we rock" musicdisk (from which i
ripped several samples as well.. hope you guys don't mind all this..)


somehow, this track quite nicely demonstrates the feeling of escapism
often associated with goa and psychedelic trance/acid/electronica, and
also comes close to my definition of the 'truly psychedelic sound'.
this 'truly psychedelic sound' should give any open-minded listener the
feeling he is floating, or suspended, free of gravitational force, inside
a sphere of magnetic force, which is being shaken about wildly, leaving
the person inside subject to the forces thus effected upon him and
probably eager to get out..escape! some tracks by the likes of astral
projection, yahel and cosmosis come pretty close to this as well... i
myself am still trying to get the sonic reflection of this feeling totally
right... for now, just close your eyes and.......


on the other hand... yes, this is yet another track about how f##ked-up
this world really is... but that doesn't make it more special, does it?
tracks about the crap on earth have been done to death. practically. :)


as far as the title is concerned... i'll explain. i made an appointment
with someone around christmas 2001, and at the time my agenda wasn't quite
within reach and any other paper was lacking, so i wrote the date on my
hand: january the 10th, 2002. i never forgot this, so here is the song. 8)


oh yeah, this .it file is the original 12" version of this track, which
plays over 7m 16s; the mp3 version is the radio version (= 4m 33s). if
you like, you can hear the radio version by pointing impulse tracker to
row 0 in pattern 0 and pressing f7. mp3 users have no choice ;-P
