   This song is my first released song, kind of an "opening-song".
It was started many months ago, but I wasn't satisfied to it,
so I fixed it...
   I'm kind of a new in this area.. well not TOO new, but new to _YOU_.

                                    ...

   I began composing three years ago with Scream Tracker III.
After a while, when I was learned how to operate ST3, I installed IT2
(they're pretty similar to each other).
   At first, I had little doubts about it, after all, ST3 is a finnish
product and IT2 is from Australia.. I'm a finn, you understand. ;)
But about half years after that I switched to Impulse Tracker II and I
haven't used ST3 ever since. I'm now hoping to get _IT3_!!

   I'm a big fan of Skaven and by listening his musics (ALL OF THEM!),
I learned the techniques and tricks of tracking (tricks? techniques?).
Thanks to him, I even learned what chords are, why to use them and how to
create them (I was pretty lame back then).
   I have a personal library of samples, which has over 650 instruments
in it! I've collected them from various songs. It's a real composer's
dream pack. I might release 'em some day...

   At this moment, when I'm writing this text (check the date from the
upper right corner) I'm 14 years old. It might sound a little young, but
I've seen even youngers. I had my birthday on 1st of November.

   I'd like to learn how to make my own instruments out of pure NOTHING.
I don't like using ripped samples from another person's song, but most of
them are ripped too, right?
   I mean, we aren't just recycling samples, are we? Just modulating,
flangering and echoing? Someone has to make e.g. a piano sample out of
nothing, not just recording one.
   Many people use their synthesizers, Roland, Korg, Technics, etc. to
"create" (most of them just rip 'em or alter them a bit..) new samples,
but who makes the first one? And I mean not by recording.
   Tell me how, I'm curious.

My real name is Kimmo Virtanen and I live in Oulu, it's about in the

   My group is called Objekti. It was first called DiDLE, then THT, but I
guess both names sucked.. Sure, Objekti is kind a weird name, but I've
heard even more mystical ones.
   Objekti is finnish and it means in english (TA-DA!) "object"!!
I knew you didn't know that!! HA!! You unacquainted!!! You who live in the
dark!!!

                             **  Ahem!  **

   We came up with the group's name when I had to figure out some example
names for the group. Then I said to Flush - As a joke - that people could
have a good laugh if our name would be something like Opjekti.. I came up
with it as I just had read from a certain PC-Magazine about a game called
"Shoot the Opjekt". I got a weird sense of humor, I guess.. ;)
   Oh well, some people just don't have much sense of humor..


   I hope this brief introduction didn't bore you to death.
