   It's that time of year again. And by that, I mean no specific time, but
this very moment right now. Just think... this instant in time you are 
experiencing is yours, and yours only. No other human being in this moment
is reading this message at the exact same time. Even if two people are, in
fact, reading this at once, they will without doubt differ in their
perception, viewpoint, and speed at which they are reading this. Savor
this moment, as it is yours, and yours only.

   Time. Just think about it... it's the mysterious force that drives all
human life, constantly propelling us forward, without fail... without
hesitation. Every second... every nanosecond... every perceivable moment
of time, something changes. A human is born... a human dies. The wind
blows outside, the trees shifting position as the leaves rustle in the
air. Someone, somewhere, may be having the time of their life, but in the
same instant, someone on the opposite side of the globe wishes he or she
was never born.

   Time. It flows onward, without stopping... without giving up. At any
given moment, anything may happen. Anything may change. No matter what the
situation... no matter what the cost... no matter what may lie ahead, the
only constant is change. Every moment, a change is made. A change for the
good, or a turn for the worse. The future hides many secrets, which can
only be unlocked once we reach them. Once that time, far off in the
distance, waiting to be unleashed... becomes Now.

   Now. The perpetual state of being. At any given time, it is always Now.
Although we often speak of things to come, or events that have already
passed and will never happen again, they will never be experienced unless
they are the Now. Tomorrow... Later... Soon. These words speak of periods
that simply do not exist or will not exist. No matter what the year, time
of day, or location you are in, you never physically reach tomorrow. As
the dawn causes the world to shift from night to day, tomorrow is always
pushed back, by the force that is the Now. We speak of tomorrow as if it
will enrich our lives, but it always stays just out of reach... just
barely our of our grasp.

   Think about it. We take time for granted, yet it is always there,
guiding us along. At least once in our lives, we must stop to ponder the
mysteries of time. How it works. How it affects us. How it never changes,
yet changes everything. It is the one law that can never be broken. It is
the Jekyll and Hyde of nature... either being on our side, or not. And
finally, although time shifts constantly, one thing remains certain. No
matter what our purpose... no matter what our beliefs... our lives will
always, and forever, be no more than an everlasting journey. A journey...
through the Anomaly of Time.
