 Winter is cold, white and beautiful. Imagine a winter where ash falls like
snow and flames lick the trees; where smoke blinds you and the heat makes you
dizzy.

 I had no choice. I had to do this track...
It was tracked during the long spate of bushfires in the eastern parts
of Australia early in 2003, when many people experienced their own
black winter. I was lucky; the smoke made the sunlight red and the air
hard to breathe, but the fires stayed well away from my house.

 Now I wish I had the tracking skills to pay homage to the people
who went through it:P. I would really like some comments on this
song, so it can be redone the way it should be.

 I would like to put out a heartfelt thanks to the firefighters and SES
volunteers of Australia for their courage and skills that keep us safe.
Thank you.

 While this is a personal song dedicated to the above people, it
is also about the destructive beauty of fire. If your life has been
affected by fire - or feel strongly about it - and are interested
