I never thought I'd ever actually get around to turning Wastelands I and
II into part of a trilogy. :} I bet Axl chose the TT22 pack to dare me to
do it. Ah well, who cares. I like it.

I felt pretty down that week, so I was primed and ready. ;) I always write
my best stuff when I feel miserable. I guess it's the price I must pay for
my supposed talent.

Greets to all the TT competitors... at least you didn't have something to
prove when you entered this one. :}

cos I finally succumbed and became a member. Well, anything Leviathan,
Siren, Necros, MickRip and Basehead can do... *rofl*

(Wow, when I put it like that I almost sound like someone important. ;) )

Greets also to my friends on #trax, especially Siren, MickRip, HB, Kal
Zakath, Argh and all the people who helped me turn my Wired96 tune into
the masterpiece it became. I owe you all a great deal. =) Many ppl tell me
it should have done better than 7th, but hey - it's my first top ten place
in a "serious" competition... hopefully, the first of many. =)

On several occasions now, I've been close to quitting the scene altogether
out of sheer lack of morale - my total failure in MC4, the mark of ***+
for my latest musicdisk released thru Mach One, One Year On (over which I
totally overreacted), certain critical comments regarding my
aforementioned Wired tune - but something always pulled me back. I dunno
what... the atmosphere on #trax, the friends I made, memories of NAID96,
whatever. But I know now for certain that if ever I am forced to leave the
scene, it's gonna be a huge wrench to let go.

I hope it never comes to that.
