  38. We're entering a new
  39. era of sound. The
  40. computer is to the
  41. 90's what the
  42. electric guitar and a
  43. distorted amp were to
  44. the garage bands of
  45. 60's and 70's.
  47. "NetMusik" is about
  48. the whole spectrum of
  49. computer-based audio
  50. art .. focusing on
  51. tracked music.
  53. 1st issue's focus is
  54. on intellectual
  55. property issues: Who
  56. owns a sample, and
  57. when does it become
  58. yours? Is the "art of
  59. the sample" just a
  60. cheap way of ripping
  61. off someone else's
  62. riffs?
  64. There's a whole lot
  65. more too, but I've
  66. taken up too many
  67. sample spaces already.
