This tune's pretty different to the stuff I did in previous TTs, so I
didn't really expect it to do VERY well. I was quite amazed when it
actually WON TT15. =) There's a whole bunch of mad key changes in it and
the melody is crazily infectious, which is the only reason I can come up
with for its amazing success.

It's also disgustingly upbeat and cheerful. :) I guess the other
contestants heard it and felt strangely uplifted. And boogied around
the room a little. Or something. :)

In the original song message, I decided to dissect my previous results to
see if I could glean any insight into my chances. Here's what I said... :)

Anyway, if my disturbing trend of good luck continues, this could score
pretty highly. =) Lets go over the facts, shall we?

TT5  - mixed mellow/pop-dance number. Score = 5.833. Rank = 2nd.
TT7  - bizarre jazz/funk fusion. :) Score = 6.500. Rank = 1st. *gasp*
TT8  - shameless synth dance. ;) Score = 6.385. Rank = 3rd.
TT9  - Popcorn cover. *spit, cough* :P Score = 7.125?!?!?! Rank = 2nd.
TT10 - Airwolf cover. (AaaAaAck!!!) =P Score = 6.400. Rank = 4th.
TT11 - Slushy ballad. :) Score = 8.000. (Holy SHIT! =) ) Rank = 1st! =)))
TT12 - Weird ambient stuph with envelopes. :) Score = 6.750. Rank = 4th.
TT13 - Pop-rock ballad. (Phear it. :) ) Score = 6.824. Rank = 1st! =)
TT14 - Cover of a nearly year-old tune. :) Score = 6.364. Rank = 3rd.

Looking at that, it seems I'm not gonna win cos this ain't no ballad.
Boo. :}

It'd be nice to score over 7 tho...
Lets try to convert these scores to MC3 format, huh? ;)

MC3 rating range = 0 to 10
TT rating range  = 0 to 9.

So to get a true MC3-esque rating for a TT entry, you gotta multiply by 10
and divide by 9...

Which gives Wastelands II a rating of 8.889! w00p! =)
And to get an MC3 score of about 7.5, I'd need to get uh... 6.75.

Hmm, what's my average? ...6.686. Doh! =P That doesn't bode well for my
MC4 entry... :}

Ah well... whatever. Hey, the beta of this tune won someone over, that's
gotta be worth something. =)
