Comment

blitz v1.01
  * fixed various timing problems, cant believe the song made even second
round with all those mistakes screwing the loops up everywhere.
  * corrected the lead guitar echo during the second pattern of the
chorus, it was echoing an earlier scrapped version of the lead that
    I forgot to replace. :P

(drumloops dont suck)

I've heard alot about people trashing this song and others out
there, simpily because they use drumloops, or have loops of other types.
I've never heard a bigger crock of bullshit in my life. (well, maybe once,
but that time doesnt count) Some people are taking the sound quality vs.
tracking skill way too damn seriously. Now, I'm not saying everyone
should just go find their favorite cd, sample the whole thing and sequence
the noise so it fits together, but I am saying that people should take a
look at the finished product more than worry about the vertical sequences
of notes when they're listening to a song. There are some aspects of
synths and drums that are nearly impossible to capture by purely tracking
them, and until impulse tracker or fast tracker 2 or scream tracker 3 or
whatever can do everything modern synthesizers can do, I'm gonna use some
fucking loops here and there to express the moods and the feelings that I
want to.

(I also tracked this song in about 10 hours the night before the deadline,
so I didnt have time to write any drums. :P)

        - Andy
