Quinta.o - Alex "Tito" Kane
->-No, Quinta.o doesn't mean anything-<-
A freestyle piano piece written with heavy FF inspiration, I think.
Thanks, Mr. Uematsu for all of your subliminal help :D
This song would have been a smaller file size (MUCH smaller) so I apoligize.
One instrument songs have no business being this big :P ... Max Polyphony
shouldn't have to be too high, i don't think this pushes much higher then 32
channels, but i can't be sure. I couldn't make this an 8-bit song due to
MASS decrease in quality.
Very simple... I updated from a really old piano (piano.smp) to a decent
soundfont and did a little simple panning for the release. I had to raise
the pitch of a lot of notes, because the soundfont had a limited range
(A-3+). This soundfont was downloaded legally and freely so I don't see
why you shouldn't use it if you're so inclined!
*Keep in mind that I wrote this a long time ago* :P
Note: The reason that there are patterns after the loop point are for if you
want to make an mp3 or wav and want it to ACTUALLY END...
Yes, I know the ending could use a bit of work :P
And I also know that it sounds a little off occasionally, just remember
the song was written for a very different sounding instrument, that was
even in a different key! :P I had to do a lot of adjusting to make the
octave changes work with the instrument at all.
I hope you enjoy the track... hopefully someday I'll have time to redo it
more then I already have :P
