Johnny Deep started as an attempt at deep house for a #modulez OHC in 2019,
hence the silly name. Genre-wise it probably didn't quite hit the mark, but
as I finished up the track for the  tracked music compo at Nordlicht 2022 -
which had a pirate  theme as its party motto - the name kind of fits again,
albeit in a slightly different way than originally intended. ;)

Compared to the original One Hour Compo version, the track was extended and
the mix was improved a lot.  Overall I'm happy with the result, even if the
track  ended up a bit  on the short side.  But I decided that  it's time to
release it now, as otherwise it might just sit on my hard drive forever.

For the compo version, a couple of  samples  were  converted  to  8-bit  or
downsampled. Your are now listening to the full-quality 16-bit version.
