When Mozart was composing at the end of eighteenth century,
the city of Vienna was so quiet that fire alarms could be
given verbally, by a shouting watchman mounted on top of
St. Stefan`s cathedral. In twentyfirst-century society,
the noise level is such that it keeps knocking our bodies
out of tune and out of their natural rhythms. This ever
increasing assault of sound upon our ears, minds, and
bodies adds to the stress load of civilized beings
trying to live in a highly complex enviroment.

Thoughts.
Right at this very moment it`s hard to describe how I feel,
it`s just so overwhelming. The song came out better than
I could have ever imagined, but that`s not the only reason.
It just feels so damn good, and at the same time also so
bitter sweet to be apart from someone you`d give your life
and heart for. From these mixed emotions I often find the
right mood to compose, and atleast to me my music represents
the purest and most beautiful way to tell the world how you
feel and what you wish to express. Music is also like a diary,
a diary of emotions. I`ve often said that when I`m listening
to some song of mine that it`s like reading an opened diary.
I can tell you precisely how I felt at the time I was making
that particular song, and it`s basicly really just an amazing
thing how feelings turn into notes, melodies, and music.
On "Serenity of Silence" I can very well tell you how much
I can hear belonging for someone, it has an emotional charge
like never before. It has the pure desire to be close, to be
honest and good to your heart`s chosen one. And with`in all
this I can hear that earth`s purest emotion desiring to reach
out for the sky, and paint the feelings of devotion with tears
from your eyes. The Intro part which I composed last for the
song gives the whole song a really nice contrast. It is the
only part I could describe as melancholic, though in a rather
mellow mood/sense. This reflects the bitter sweet feeling love
sometimes causes to a person. Every single thought, smile and
whisper you imagine feels so rightful, so strong and good,
so real and unique. Love and feeling of caring is the most
genuine feeling I`ve felt in my entire life.
I cannot imagine what could give me more
pleasure than dedicating this song to you,
Ann Mary H. with all my heart and soul.
A bit of poetry.
Here are some tiny little poems I`ve wrote recently.
#1) How would you feel if love is right,
right there to hold you tight,
love that would never die,
with someone who would love, not lie.
#2) Out of the blue,
you gave me a clue,
but what could I find,
when there`s no one your kind.
#3) Deep down in my soul,
I know I want more,
it`s you who I adore,
it`s you I`m ready for.
#4) Life is an ongoing battle of survival,
with you I`d love to see it all the way,
forever love and cherish your soul,
keep it warm and safe.
Earthly Thoughts.
From a dusty room to the world around I present you my latest
effort, "SOS". Two pianos are playing the leading roles on my
rather "barouqish" melodylines, as the most bizarre things are
happening in the back. Basicly the song only has an ironic view
of Serenity, or of Silence, not to mention something that sounds
so peaceful as the whole title in full. I seem to have continued
my weird/odd chose of vocal/speech samples again. Some of you
might recognize Keanu Reeves`s voice, taken from the brilliant
movie "The Matrix" and placed in the beginning of the intro part,
and the porny moan and X-rated stuff I know atleast your parents
wouldn`t like you to know anything about ;) Btw, I downloaded
the orgy sounds from some sample site, they aren`t sampled by me.
Once again I had come up with more material I could use, almost
enough for two individual/separate songs, but they would have
sounded too much the same, so I decided to do one which wouldn`t
sound repetive, atleast what comes to the melody lines. I might
aswell reveal that several songs you`ve heard from me in the past
(for example "Out of The Blue") had plenty of stuff which weren`t
used in the song, patterns and melodies which were quite far away
from the theme/mood of which the songs mostly were about. In the
future you might very well hear familiar sounding samples used in
a different way in a different enviroment and mood. These extra
patterns that I didn`t use in the songs were always removed from
the public (8bit) versions. I could name one of my most preferred
tracks, One of a Kind, as a promising canditate to be followed
by a sequal, a second part. No promises given though.
About Versions.
This is the 8bit public version. There is also a version made
specially for the 2nd issue of Legend diskmagazine. The version
that comes with the Legend diskmagazine`s 2nd issue has reduced
active channels usage, so that the magazine would run on a slow
computer nicely. Also the version is looped, it plays over and
over again (continuously). Besides these, there are no other
changes made compared to this public release. In any case,
this is the best version released along the MP3 release.
Theory.
I heard a good saying, "The more theory, the less creativity."
I believe in this, and in my case it could very well also be
true. Naturally I wouldn`t say the same if were a master of
musical theory, but sometimes you have to justify some things
to yourself even if you weren`t 100% right. I cannot blaim
myself and feel worthless if I don`t know everything about
everything, but it`s just the way perfectionism affects me.
You have shown me that you like the music even as I cannot
carry out an intelligent conversation of musical theory, so
why should I feel like I`m beneath everyone when none of you
think so of me. I guess this way of feeling comes when you
combine low self esteem, and the special mixture of slavic
and finnish blood that runs in my veins ;)
