          Progressive Deterioration by (M)Rated 28th January 1997

Firsty I must thank Tom Ellard for the bass sample... I 'borrowed' it
from the Severd Heads Site www.sevcom.com... there are a few other
samples there if you're interested! They're in AIF format.

This tune was written cos I wanted to do something which builds and builds
and builds... sort of a progressive thing (hence the rather contradictory
name)... Took me quite a while to think of a name for this tune... I
think this fits quite nicely.

I think of this tune in two 'acts'... the first faster part was
originally the entire song... Then I accidentally looped it and didn't
reset the tempo...so the second 'act' was quite a fluke. If you get sick
of the tune by then just stop it after the first act...but you'll be
missing out in half the song.

All samples by me except the main kick drum (don't remember where that
came from...if it's yours sorry!) and the bass (of course!)...

The 'orchestral' bits came from a recording which my mother, brother and
200 other people did of Verdi's Requiem...

The singing voice is actually the start of the theme song from the 60's TV
show The Saint played backwards!!! Nice effect if you ask me!

The rest of the instruments either came from my Korg 01/W or from SBK
files I have lying around (sample libraries for the Sound Blaster 32)...

No 'hiyas' cos I don't know anyone who would like to be associated with a
song like this... hehe But howdy to everyone who has anything to do with
music. (except Bon Jovi fans ... kidding)

ENJOY!
