 This entire piece is based on a theme I created 2 years ago on Christmas
Eve. Many are familiar with the classical rendition of "Theme and
Variations"... well, this is my take on it. Why vary only rhythm, tempo,
and harmonies, when one can vary entire styles and cultural influences?
Thus, here is "Prey and Variations"... and may I just say that this was a
LOT of fun to write. I highly recommend the idea to other composers as an
excellent method of practice and self-education.
