:D
yes. yes. representing 'wesside.' that's what we're doing. okay.
this is a gc3 entry. we wanted some leads so we chippified the pack,
dennisc started something which had some okay notes but sounded shite
since he mixed it using a dixie cup and some string as a headphone :D
so then beek mixed that part up real good, then dennisc funkdafied the
rest. this is the ultimate party song. a few ideas to keep in mind..
the intro is good old cheezy guitar chip style. plus the main part, which
is chip pop, well, we just figured you need that kind of thing. but you
know, that's not good enough. so in comes the percussion, and the 'jazz,'
and then all of a sudden dennisc tracks a few patterns which sounds like
a ripoff of 'soul finger' from the bar-kays. which is actually THE
ultimate party song, in case you were interested. so if you dig that
bassline from the last few, you know where to get it. we didn't rip, we
made a 'party medley,' and that found its way in among the original stuff.
yeah.
i'm dennisc writing all of this, and i'm greeting the usual suspects.
beek would probably greet his socal posse here. but like, i figure, what
the hey, he can just greet them when he sees them in school tomorrow. :D
remember. blast this song really loud. neighbors love it. and women love
it too.
respectfully yours,
dj. dennisc on the 1 and 2s
beek with the seagrams gin
+ the hos from the city of compton, our respective entourages et al.
wesside for life.
peace.
