2020 is about to end. A year without many demoparties, and as a result with
little motivation to work on music. After all, I like having a deadline to
work towards. But at the same time, this has been my most productive year
when it comes to One Hour Compos, as I have never written as many OHC tunes
as in 2020. Not all of them were good - I think very few of them are worth
turning into a full song - but I definitely want to finish some of them.
Powerkick is one of those tunes. Throughout the year, I revisited this song
again and again, and while I'm still not 100% satisfied, I think it's worth
releasing now. Otherwise it will just rot on my PC in a 99% finished state.
Let's hope 2021 will be a better year, with more music to release.
