- I've been working on
- this piece on and off
- for about 5 months.
- I began with the goal
- of composing a
- symphonic piece
- that imitated the
- style of Danny Elfman
- (the composer of the
- score for the film
- BATMAN, among many
- others). His
- style is reflected
- heavily in the first
- movement. In the
- second and third
- movements, I wanted to
- move away from a
- strict imitation and
- go for a more original
- style.
- I think that this
- piece works fairly
- well. I hope you
- enjoy it.
