  21. I've been working on
  22. this piece on and off
  23. for about 5 months.
  24. I began with the goal
  25. of composing a
  26. symphonic piece
  27. that imitated the
  28. style of Danny Elfman
  29. (the composer of the
  30. score for the film
  31. BATMAN, among many
  32. others). His
  33. style is reflected
  34. heavily in the first
  35. movement. In the
  36. second and third
  37. movements, I wanted to
  38. move away from a
  39. strict imitation and
  40. go for a more original
  41. style.
  42. I think that this
  43. piece works fairly
  44. well. I hope you
  45. enjoy it.
