  11. ordinary. midnight has
  12. fallen, the city dark
  13. with numbness.
  14. but far away, slightly
  15. dimmed you hear sounds
  16. beautiful sounds,
  17. so well organised,
  18. all the sounds seem
  19. to fall in the right
  20. place in the right
  21. moment. as you come
  22. closer you see that
  23. the sound emerges
  24. from a nightclub.
  25. the sounds blend, and
  26. you begin to hear the
  27. rhythmic pulse of the
  28. beat. the one sound
  29. splits up into all
  30. kinds of different
  31. sounds but at the same
  32. time, form an
  33. unseperatable part.
  34. as your enter the
  35. dim nightclub, the
  36. sound still seems
  37. so far away. first,
  38. just as your eyes
  39. have adapted to the
  40. darkness, you can
  41. see the blinking
  42. lights, the flashing,
  43. moving rays of
  44. energy that move
  45. in perfect harmony
  46. to the music. and the
  47. sound becomes more
  48. clear. the closer
  49. you get to the source
  50. of the music, the
  51. more treble you
  52. hear, and slightly
  53. more bass. before
  54. you're aware of this
  55. harmony of sounds
  56. and light, and the
  57. people dancing to
  58. the music, all in the
  59. same rhythm, you
  60. are a part of that
  61. dynamic scene. and you
  62. get sucked up by
  63. the hectic but still
  64. relaxed ambience of
  65. this small world.
  66. and you think of
  67. how you were wandering
  68. around just an hour
  69. ago. looking for a bar
  70. or something else to
  71. make time go by more
  72. quickly. that a thing
  73. like this could have
  74. existed, you never
  75. even dared imagining!
  76. as you dance on with
  77. the crowd which seems
  78. to be a unity, you
  79. forget about all you
  80. have ever learned.
  81. you seem to have
  82. reached an other
  83. state of mind. a state
  84. of happiness, of
  85. a sense of unity, a
  86. feeling of escaping
  87. from the world for
  88. a while. and as time
  89. passes on you realise
  90. that dawn is
  91. coming closer and
  92. as you look at your
  93. watch you see that
  94. it has been 6:00 am
  95. already. what a rush
  96. in time there must
  97. have been you think.
  98. you leave the club
  99. just like the way you
  100. entered it some time
  101. ago, and the music
  102. fades... first the
  103. high tones fade,
  104. followed by the low
  105. bass... finally you
  106. are in total peace.
  107. no sounds around
  108. you and no people
  109. in the streets. on the
  110. west you can see the
  111. sun, trying to bring
  112. some daylight over
  113. the city. as you walk
  114. home you can see
  115. the lights are on
  116. in some houses, and
  117. slightly you begin to
  118. become aware of
  119. reality again...
  120. as you enter your
  121. own apartment with
  122. all its own things
  123. in it which make you
  124. feel at ease, you step
  125. into bed and lay down.
  126. you drift off in a
  127. peacefull dream...
