I dont condone the usage of LSD substances, however, I decided to name
this song L.S.D. because of its kinda 'randomness' and could possibly
induce hallucinations from the weak minded ;O). Not really my usual
style. Of course, with it being 'techno' it has its techno 'leads' heh.
My 3rd release of this year, kinda nice to get another song complete,
amazing really, I struggle for months to finish a song, then, I manage to
write a completely new one in less than a day.
I strongly recommend that MMX filters are turned on, on your PC before
listening to this track. It works fine without them, but you dont get the
full effect of the song, and it sounds somewhat 'clicky' for some reason.
Not sure where the inspiration came from with this, I think it has some-
thing to do with the samples I was loading into impulse tracker as I was
'jamming'. Although, after hearing a song written by Zepsi in an OHC,
'NAIVE MUSIC FOR PENGUINS' I decided to try and write something like it,
wanted to make a song that was 'cosy' like it, and well, after loading
the two samples in and making a pattern, the mood was set for the rest of
the song. It is nothing like the song by Zepsi, not even the same genre.
I originally had the speed of the song set to 003 with a tempo of 125bpm,
I experimented alittle, it sounded good, but I dropped in a 003.002.003.
etc speed and dropped the tempo to 110....its alittle faster than it
originally was, but it sounds way more funkier ;O).
