TerraGuy:
Well, this song was inspired by the movie 'Leon', it's about
a lonely immigrant who murders people for money, and he only
cares about his plant. He lives on his own, but when his
neighbours are killed because of a drugcase, he takes care of the
only person from the neighbours who wasn't killed: a little
girl, around 12 years old. She affects his life, she
learns him to read and to love, and he learns her to 'clean', to
kill. In the end the guy blows up himself and the enemy so the
girl can get away and start a 'normal' life.
When I was finished with the original part (around 1'45) I didn't
want to go on with the song, because I could ruin it again, I
liked the song too much so I stopped. After a few weeks, I asked
Bugster if he liked the song, and if he wanted to finish it...
He liked the song very much, he told me, and he finished
it great, better than I had expected! I did some finishing touch
and now the song is finished...
Bugster:
Talking on StarChat one day, I came across TerraGuy who said he
had a song that he had not finished yet, but thought highly of it.
I was curious about it and we got to talking and soon enough I
found myself in my first musical collaboration project. I really
liked what I heard in the song as it fit the style of music that
I make. However, this song was a tough one to tackle and try
to finish. In my own songs, I usually have my own story a feelings
that I create from start to finish, but this time I was coming
halfway into it and was lost at first (some of that due to awe =).
I had a hard time getting a direction for the song going and found
myself listening to other music for inspiration. Soon enough I
started and even added a percussion, which the song didn't have
when I received it. Unfortunately, this was a busy time for me
personally and it took some time to add the last 2'30. I wasn't
sure if TerraGuy would like what I had added, but as I found he
really liked it and added some finishing touches which made it
even better than what I could have done. I'm really proud of this
song and would like to thank TerraGuy for allowing me to help
out with his creation. Happy tracking everyone.
- That's all folks.
