Digital Symphony version of a classic Christmas carol. Feel
free to sing along with your own version of the lyrics.
This was a particularly difficult tune to compose, as the
timing is so completely, utterly irregular - not suited to
Digital Symphony format at all! I eventually got round it
somewhat by having one position per number and three for the
last five, which is why it's such a very inefficient file.
For the database-freaks out there, the following instruments
are used for each verse: 1 - Chimes, 2 - Brass,
[intermission], 3 - Synth, 4 - Warble, 5 - Chimes,
[intermission], 6 - Synth, 7 - Brass, 8 - Warble,
[intermission], 9 - Blowpipe, 10 - Brass, 11 - Synth, 12 -
Chimes. 3 x Chimes, 3 x Brass, 3 x Synth, 2 x Warble, 1 x
Blowpipe, plus three intermissions composed by me to make
the song a bit less boring.
Stats: 80 (&56) positions, equivalent to 3 minutes and 48.4
seconds of real-time music. 80 separate patterns and 16
samples, all contributing to an uncompressed 133 KB file.
