How I did this tune:

1.  Came up with silly piano bit from the start.

2.  Made the chorus. Decided it sounded funky with octave-separated piano
    bit. Smiled, kept it.

3.  Copied first verse, added percussion. Added another layer of melody...
    I think. (My memory kinda sucks like this, see.)

4.  Changed many samples.

5.  Went the way of all rock ballads and added lead electric guitar. Yes,
    That Electric Lead Guitar. So sue me. ;)

6.  Went crazy with the bit in the middle. Got stuck on that for a few
    weeks. Yes, WEEKS. It sucked. Frowned very much.

7.  Fudged a transposition, experimented with combinations of samples.
    Heard electric guitar with chorus sample and loved it *immediately*.

8.  Smiled very much indeed. May even have jumped up and down a bit.

10. ...oh, pardon me...

9.  *cough* Tweaked, fixed, beta tested with a few people. Ummed and ahhed
    about this tune and another similar one, not knowing which to enter at
    Wired.

10. Flipped a coin. :)

11. Did the sampletext and song message.


There, proof as if any were needed that I basically suck. :)
