The Astroman intro tune

This song was heavily inspired by the song Pocket, by Ari.  While most of
it is entirely made up of my ideas, a lot of credit should go to him for
setting the mood for the music in my head.  =)

If you want to hear the true power of chip samples, download Analogue's
chip music compo pack.  I'm afraid this little tune doesn't do justice to
it's inspiration.  =)

I know I've said before that I wouldn't release a whole lot of music just
for the sake of tracking, but I find that tracking a tune like this once
in a while is great for getting musical inspiration that I can apply to my
band, and other projects.  Besides, I think I've completely fallen in love
with the sound of chip music.  Not the samples alone, mind you.  They
sound ghastly, but when you combine them and incorporate melody, and
harmony, and you make something that sounds like shit become something
awe-inspiring, you get an amazing sence of accomplishment that I really
enjoy.

Thanks go out to Parity Error, who revitalized my love for chip music.
