   MPT  fucked  the  timestamp up  by not accounting
   (properly) in the last sections for:

- last 2 pattern loops in p203 (~23 seconds)
- last loop in p40 before jumping to p20. (~5 seconds)
- last loop in p0 before jumping to p22 (~4 seconds)

   Therefore, timestamps  after 17:59 in  MPT  should
   be offset  by  ~33 seconds. The  timestamps  shown
   here are  according  to  the exported audio  file.

   MPT isn't very accurate when estimating the length
   of this module.  It says the module is 29:34, when
   in reality, it is actually 30:03.   You can export
   an audio file of it in MPT and load it up  in  VLC
   or Audacity or whatever,  and you'll see that it's
   actually over 30 minutes rather than half a minute
   under it! :P


   So...  is it long enough for TMA now?

   WOUTER:

   The creation of this module was started
   somewhere in September 2017... I made a
   .S3M module  called  CHIPPERS.  It  had
   only three different patterns  spanning
   four orders in total.   It was a really
   quick chiptune, as is  the  case with a
   lot of chiptunes... but when i uploaded
   the 15-second-long original to  The Mod
   Archive, i somehow got a rejection! The
   module was too short to be worth adding
   and so the upload was rejected.   I was
   in tears!   How dare they reject such a
   wonderful module!  Somehow i had to get
   revenge on whoever  deemed  my  master-
   piece "too short".

   In January 2018,  i  opened  a  Discord
   server about  tracker music and modules
   in general. One of the ideas i had when
   creating  this  server  was  opening  a
   collab channel, where people could work
   on tracks together using Discord's file
   uploading  features.   People   started
   joining the server, and so i decided to
   try and propose a  collab in the collab
   channel.    The first idea i had was to
   do something with  CHIPPERS - it seemed
   like a great base to work from,  as  it
   already had a main sequence  to  expand
   on,  and a rather basic chiptune sample
   set,  so  it  wouldn't be difficult for
   anyone to join in. Plus it was rejected
   before for being too short, so it would
   be funny to extend the song  to make it
   long enough for TMA and get my revenge.

   abledbody was one of the first to  join
   the collab, and soon after  a  dinosaur
   joined in as well. At some point fuzion
   decided to join in too, but he joined a
   lot later than the rest.  Most  of  the
   patterns in the earlier sections of the
   module are therefore made by me, dino &
   abled. Around 4:34 into the song fuzion
   makes his first  appearance.  The  song
   was going to end around that point, but
   i just thought  -  what would happen if
   we extended it as far as we could?  The
   module was kind of a meme by now as  it
   was originally so short, and now it had
   become about 6 minutes long! Wouldnt it
   be even more of a meme if we'd  try  to
   make the  absolute  longest  module  we
   possibly could?  It would definitely be
   the ultimate shitpost module... we'd be
   writing history!

   I convinced the rest of this  idea  and
   we continued work on the module.  By no
   means did we try to just add  stuff  to
   the module for the sake of adding stuff
   though!   I certainly put a lot of love
   into all the melodies and patterns i've
   written for this module,   and i'm sure
   everyone else has done the same. Trying
   to get this module over 20 minutes long
   was a real challenge. At some point, we
   hit .S3Ms pattern limit of 99 patterns.
   A number of workarounds were suggested,
   fuzion even wanted  to  go  as  far  as
   making the song 10 channels  instead of
   5, and then continueing the song on the
   extra 5 channels while muting the first
   5 using  M00.  But  this  was  way  too
   complicated to actually pull off, since
   the Mxx command was already being  used
   in a lot of places. Instead, we changed
   the module to  an  .IT,  and  continued
   working on it. But then just as we were
   near to completing the module,  we  hit
   yet another technical limit - we filled
   up all the  pattern  orders.  No  other
   module format has more than 256 orders,
   so we had to improvize a solution.   We
   removed *all*  the  dividers  from  the
   sequence,  and we got rid of all double
   patterns  in  the sequence and replaced
   them with pattern loops.  And we hadn't
   even finished the song at  that  point!
   We still needed a good transition  into
   the outro, so i tried my  best  to  get
   some more minutes out of the song, with
   a more ambient section  that abuses the
   absolute shit out of pattern loops  and
   channel volume slides. In  the  end,  i
   really think this is the craziest piece
   of music ive ever been a part of. We've
   put hours upon  hours  of  effort  into
   pushing the limits  of  the  .S3M,  and
   later, the .IT format,  and making what
   we all consider to  be  the  definitive
   chiptune, the chiptune to end all other
   chiptunes!  It's taken over a year from
   start  to  finish,  over  60  different
   versions have been sent back and forth,
   and the module  has grown to be over 30
   minutes in total length! I can only say
   that i'm immensely proud of it, and i'm
   sure the others are too.  I  hope  you,
   the listener,  can  enjoy  it  just  as
   much as we do! The module is definitely
   quite a ride, but i think it's  a  very
   fun one.  I hope you'll think the same!

   Wouter, never use  the word "Meme" like
   that again.
   
   This project was just about as much fun
   as one could have tracking a module. My
   skills working  with .s3m based formats
   have   improved   substantially   while
   working around  others' song structure.
   
   Now I  use  these tricks  all  the time
   when I probably shouldn't.
   
   My  favorite  patterns  are  20  -  30,
   61 - 76, and 121 - 160.
   
   And by the way, there  are easter eggs.

   FUZION:

   First of  all,  we've done it!  I can't
   deny  I've put  the second-most  effort
   into  this,  despite  me  joining   the
   collab  several versions  late.  I also
   had to  force us to work  on it several
   times... say your thanks to me, Wouter,
   Abled and Dino! Hahah!

   Seriously  though,  we've  pushed  this
   .IT  module as  far as  we could  while
   leaving the  boxes in the compatibility
   settings  checked.  Any further and  we
   have to  resort to  unchecking the "Bxx
   overwrites SBx loop" box.  Leaving them
   checked is  merely just  for  challenge
   since    this   module   is    Impulse-
   incompatible anyways (>200 patterns and
   Wouter  using the S9F command in  p87).

   I've  learnt a  lot from  this  collab,
   mainly tricks that I can implement into
   .S3M-based  formats.  For example, I've
   never   gotten   so   desperate   about
   conserving   patterns  /  orders before
   this,  so tricks  like the  SBx pattern
   repeat  (as  seen in  p39,  p87,  p90),
   nested  looping   (p202   and   various
   patterns afterwards)  and utilising the
   Kxx,  Lxx and Qxx  commands effectively
   (various patterns) helped me to harness
   the skills I'll need in the future. Not
   only  that,  I'm  now  definitely  more
   interested in  tracking chiptunes  than
   I  was before. So, that's  something to
   take away from this collab.

   Somewhere  in the middle of  completing
   this module, Dino lost interest  due to
   other projects that appeal to  him  and
   him being busy with his life...  that's
   why he's only worked  on the first half
   of the collab.

   Anyways,  thanks to  Wouter,  Abled and
   Dino for allowing  me this  opportunity
   to  collab with you all!  Hope I didn't
   change  your plans abruptly by suddenly
   editing v19, hahah!

   between p142 and p143.
