ugh.. i threw this thing together in about an hour (minus the time it took
me to make the iced tea and sandwich during pattern 7)..
this would probably sound a lot better if i had used my own samples (i.e.
"techno snare" -> 606 snare, chip-bass noise -> rev crash, the current
bassynth for something with a bit more rez.. and some other big sound
changes (revamping the whole intro w/ some metal percussion)) and i wasn't
runing a 102 degree fever.. i suppose this is better than some EBM out
there, though..
remember folks, don't track when you have the flu.
i'm not really impressed with this one (can you tell?).. i do like the
bassline, but it doesn't sound right with that synth.. i'll probably
revamp this thing after i feel better and put it on my webpage
(www.netaxs.com/~ogre/23_music/)
btw, couple things:
i would like to apologize for my first two entries, as they were
unintelligable, uninspired, unuseful pieces of trite
i would also like to apologize for that 13 minute track.. i kinda ran out
of time with it.. i *was* planning to cut it down some more (and i did, if
you check my webpage, there's a new 5 something minute version with my
own, better samples (no offense to whomever put together the sample
collection, but mine just fit a lot better))
oh, and that last track.. the bassline.. that was somewhat intentional..
isn't that the loop it came with? i forget.. anyhoo, i was trying to go
for a sound of bassground antimusik noise thing with that thing.. i
suppose i should've dropped it a bit further down in the mix (too late
now).
