A St3vor Production... Dark Worlds: Part 6 The Warlock of SIlent Straight ============================== Your arms are very tired as you pull up on the shore of the island. You hop out with one of your crew and pull your boat ashore. As your crew members disembark and collect their things, you look around. What a beautiful place this is. Trees, birds, the waters around the Island are crystal clear and teeming with fish of incredible decorations and colours. Almost definitely a deception this must be, as you think back to the previous evening during the passage across the straight. Where your ship was destroyed and over half your crew annihilated. You and your men walk up the beach and into the tropical jungle and come across a small clearing. You decide to rest as your arms need revitalizing and you are very tired. As one of your men remains on guard you lie down on the grassy sand to rest and you ponder over certain things... Things that don't make sense... Like how this island is inhabited by an evil Wizard, like how if this warlock being evil has allowed you to come here after easily proving he could destroy you, and as to how such an evil person lives in such a beautiful place. After an hour or so you feel revitalized and ready to continue... Your men are ever ready. You lead your men along a track like road leading off through the jungle away from the clearing. Along the track is dense jungle, full of life. Adding more to your confusion of the situation is the lack of any type of dangerous animal amongst all the fauna life here. After an hour or so of travel you begin to notice the peak of a temple above the canopy of trees ahead of you. You warn your men to be ready for anything... as you emerge from the density of jungle the Temple begins to become clearer in view. You and your men emerge fully from the jungle and are standing before a brilliant temple of amazing design, almost like a royal kingdom. A moat of crystal clear water, all kinds of animals living in harmony... Is this a deception? Or does the information about your destiny in this world come from a forked tongue? But then you remember the happenings of last night... You decide to throw caution to the wind somewhat and approach the temple with your men from the front. It is beautiful... Surely not an icon of evil? But suddenly you sense danger. You freeze as demonic chanting whispers around you... It becomes clear as this feeling of danger intermittently disappears and reappears... There is conflict here. You and your men storm through the temple doors to emerge into a vast chamber liken to that of a throneroom. Inside this room are 2 characters. They are identical to each other. They are fighting. As you and your men stand watch, the magnificent room changes motif from brilliant decorations, to that liken to a torture house or dungeon and back again just as fast. You are watching a battle of good versus Evil. You surmise that there is nothing physically you can do here. But a quick thought passed through your mind, and before you could even agree to it you had the emerald amulet out of your pack and threw it towards what appeared to be the non evil wizard... He grabs it, holds it up high while still chanting and sorcering to counter attacks from his evil counterpart, and amongst the frey he chants loudly a few words... The emerald amulet releases a loud squeal together with a blinding green light which causes you and your men to fall over and cover your eyes... all of a sudden the world around you becomes silent, you open your eyes to see what has happened... The motif of the room is a magnificent throne room, the sense of evil and danger you were feeling has vanished and you feel unnaturally secure... The character you threw the amulet to stands alone in the center of the room... You stand up and face him. He looks towards you and smiles. He walks over to you, drops to his knees and starts crying and moaning in gratitude... You have helped end a battle that has raged on in this world for the past 17 000 years. You are astonished that that is how long the fight between these 2 sorcerers has continued... The evil presence of Chython has been lifted from this world. The warlock decides to bestow upon you many things to help you in your quest. He restored your armour and weapons to full repair, he heals all your wounds, upgrades your flexibility and physical strength... You gratefully thank him for these things, and tell him of your predicament. He tells you of the 2 remaining worlds for you to pass through. One of these worlds holds the final script you are looking for. You learn of its name. The Eethorimon script. Once combined with the Daeliss Script you will have the power to destroy Chython. And the emerald amulet... This will strike the winning blow. The remaining 2 worlds will test your strength and courage to the fullest extent. No one has gotten this far in the journey before. You have freed this world from Chython, your men have helped you through here and it is now time for them to return home. You thank them immensely and as the warlock whisks them from this place back to their homes in Floraghan you wonder whether or not you will get home again. There is much to do. The warlock tells you that the remaining 2 worlds are in the alterworld regions themselves! The equivalent of hell and worse. Not exactly filling you with confidence, but you want home so badly you don't care. The warlock is still weak from his long battle, and is unable to help you further except to transport you back to the 7 portals. You bid him farewell and thankyou for his help and before you know it, You are standing in the eerie silence of the portals... The same evil feel, the same 7 gateways, the same statue in the center... The gateway at the end of the courtyard is still sealed, There are 2 more that can be opened. Before plunging through you hear the same evil voice.. "You have come far, but this is where you will falter. This will be your place of rest. You cannot defeat my power." You do you best to ignore this evil taunting as you jump through the next gate into an unknown region of the alterworld. Your journey will not be getting any easier... ========================================================= Ok we have PART 6 released!!! YaY!!! Dont think things will be getting any easier for our hero, In the next adventure we will see enough evil and terror to last a lifetime! And you will not be dissapointed!
