Well, the circumstances of the creation of this song are predictable: I
needed more space to create, so here I am, predictably, in the basement
with a dedicated computer for music stuff. At least I still sleep
upstairs (with my anime).
So I did something unspectacular. I went to a Goodwill thrift store and
bought a coffee table I can use to put crap on when I'm using my computer.
When I was there, I noticed two upright Pianos. Now that I actually have
the space, I'm like, ooh...I want! But I didn't get them, because right now
I don't have the money to buy them and transport them. So there went an
opportunity to learn the piano. Which I'm still going to do some day. Crap.
This song title has nothing to do with that though, it's just a name I came
up with because it uses the Major-minor scale, which if you listen to a lot
of my modules you'll come across quite often. The actual inspiration is
drinking a lot of caffeine. But I suppose seeing the pianos was a majorly
minor incident. So maybe it fits. Especially because there's no piano in
this song. Or maybe not being able to get one of the pianos is the Piano
Punishment Vortex (another module I made).
What else? Well, one of the samples in the song is what a normal 303 sample
sounds like amplified by several thousand percent then reduced in volume by
like 60%. Not that that's that interesting.
