Hello. I am VampRabb1t. You may have seen me on IRC in #trax on
irc.demoscene.org before. I am relatively new to the scene, having been
tracking since only July 96. Actually, I started talking to other members
in the scene around two weeks ago, so I haven't officially been in the
scene long at all.
I am in a group called 7YNIVf, a gothic/industrial tracking group
headed by the infamous Lord Jazz of ACiD. I guess we're more well known
in the ANSI scene than the music scene. But word is spreading, I guess.
Anyways, this is my first entry for a compo ever, so I hope you all
like it and do not shun it because it's not melodic like a lot of tracked
music is. I prefer the dark style of music. It's more appealing to me.
Despite this, I do listen to melodic type tracked music. I think that the
authors of the songs have a great deal of talent and I deeply respect
that. Also, I like to hear a happy tune every once in a while as opposed
to all gothic music. I have a fair balance.
I'd like to say that the samples in this compo blew my mind!! I
thought I'd have to create a song using crappy type samples. This
DEFINATELY proved me wrong! They're excellent. I'd like to applaud the
guys who contributed the samples, whoever you are. They rule.
