Tracne

(Death to the Mainstream Mix)

- Benefit of the Boomerang
[Yomi Records]

---------------------------
Time: 00:03:45
Stylez: Industrial Junglised Metal

Junglised... metal...? Yeah, it is...
---------------------------
Reason:

The original Tracne (T r A c N e as I called it)
was... well... lame...
No no, don't worry, it's not that I've been converted
to a mainstream course. It's just the song.

Although I got tons of e-mails from "devoted trancers" and
"trancids" not to mention my stalkers "trancelovers" (I still receive
hatemail from those guys, burning down the small remains of all
my releases so far), I wasn't satisfied with the choon.

DUH! It was nothing more but a 4 channelled piece of junk!
2 different basslines, 3 different melodies, some lousy fukken
cheap amenbreak going on and on and on and on... and there was
the 8 bit, limiter-distorted vocals...
CRAP, why didn't I see it before? It plainly sucked!

... I never figured out why people would bother to mail me
and call me an asshole because I kicked trance in the nuts...
Pity... pity them... and pity me for tracking the song...

Now, about 8 months later, I've gained some more technique,
I have a little more ability, not to mention some good hard/software
which I use in a different way of tracking. I've moved on beyond
the point that is T r A c N e, Noise of Insanity, Soundwave Alliance...
You know (actually, I hope you DON'T know ;) ) the cheapstuff, but neccesary
for progress.

It comes down to this:
One morning, I woke up. I thought:
"Hey, let's redo Tracne!"
And so I did. AND SO I DID! MUAHAHAHA!
I hope this song will release another flood of hatemail among people
who think trance is God's gift to music. It's not. :P
Coz, I laugh when I read mails ending with "trance rulezzzzz!!!" or
even more original "trance will rule da nation!!!".
Yeah, I know wot ye think... humanity is doomed...

Anyway, this one's a little better and a little more interesting to listen to.
It's... well... hard, agressive... almost metal-like, with distorted guitars,
palm-muted basses, distorted breaks and lunacy from my special box.
And ofcourse, lyrics to tell you how lame our 4/4'ed friend is.

I don't know the genre. I know that it bites. And that's enough, ne?
