I'm stgiga. First off, this song is a Fairchild Channel F/VES cover of Doric Dream's song FamiCommodore, which she permits covers of.
This is not a MIDI conversion, and it is intended for use with the SleizsaTrio compiler for the Channel F.
I have made a oscilloscope view YT video set of this module as well as the compiled result. This song pushes the Channel F and SleizsaTrio itself to their absolute limits, and was done for several reasons.
First off, February 2021 is the 5th Anniversary of FamiCommodore, and 2021 is the 45th Anniversary of the Fairchild Channel F/VES, which was a historic pioneer in the game console landscape (it even beat the Apple II by one year in the aspect of color for a CPU-driven machine), and was invented by one of the rare black engineers in the 1970s tech sector, Jerry Lawson, who died of diabetes a decade ago in April 2011, so this cover also pays tribute to him.
February is also Black History Month, which makes this cover an even more fitting tribute, especially given the now-increased noble desire for more dignity and respect to be shown to people of color. I also had some help with this cover from ZmeyKolbasnik and wackypack/ledinred with this endeavor, one which I felt had to be done for posterity and symbolism reasons.
I hope you enjoy this feat or at least appreciate it in some way.
Sincerely, stgiga
