     Homeland: Allegiance was written in December of 2000 as part of
     a set of three songs included on the album "Winter Star," a gift
     for my family and friends during the holiday season.

     The original theme for this piece is pulled from the composition
     "Homeland," composed in 1994 by Ryan Hunt (Pinion [pHluid]).
     Additional material is brought in from original material I
     introduced in a 1997 arrangement of the same piece.

     The violin solo was recorded on a Sharp MD-722 minidisc with a
     Sony ECM-717 microphone.
