This song was inspired by a soundclip for a program. I don't know what the
program was though. I just got some nice samples and started tossing notes
together. Usually this method for writing songs doesn't work as well as it
did here.. this one turned out really cool sounding.
Most of the samples are from Skaven's new songs, although I have some from
Akuma Pan's work (4 and 9.. ripped from "Kaguyahime"), and the snare is my
own. (Wow! My own sample!)
What style of music is this? I suppose it's some sort of "deep" techno.. I
didn't really try to write any particular style. Actually, I didn't really
try to write this. I just sort of sat down and started doing stuff, and it
just sort of existed. I had a deep bass in the song, but it didn't seem to
fit with the rest of the music, so I took it out.
The image that comes to mind when I listen to this song is a round tunnel,
or a hallway that goes on as far as I can see, covered with walls of iron,
and floored with timber.. but that's just me. You can go ahead and imagine
whatever you want when you're playing this. :-)
