thought i'd make a "comeback" of sorts and start uploading unreleased metal mods i've created from the last few years, and something i've been re-dabbling in recently too
i think i created this around 2018 - as a sorta, "hey i'm a real musician now since i can play guitar/bass etc but i wanna see what happens if i make a metal mod again"
not too long after i'd released what i'd seen as failed projects at the time (touchlight & susceptive, you can find these on bandcamp), so i guess it was just a case of, let's see what happens
i think these samples were taken from a hybrido song of some kind?
in fact most likely the same ones used for "a creation of death" on my older tom_d profile, which funnily enough i have a re-recorded guitar version on a private soundcloud profile somewhere.
but the production on that ain't so great looking back.
speaking of that account - i remember uploading a brief song in 2012 with a similar philosophy as 2018 - "dive in fires of desire"
which honestly i still rate to this day aside from the out of place breakdown bit. i was listening to a lot of core at the time you see
what i'm gutted about is that i had this tune working on right after that was a killer technical metalcore tune, never finished it, never uploaded it, and pretty sure gone forever. oh well
anyway naturally, this tune - did a straight forward, melodic death kinda blaster with a nice anthemic chorus of some type.
oh no the samples are directly taken from alzamon's - banish trollstorm, had to remove the instrument names just to you know make this tune more official
if there's an easier way to just clear instrument names in one click, i'd like to hear it
