PLAYING INSTRUCTIONS:
Use the ModPlugPlayer with at least 32 tones polyphony,
moderate EQ settings, high resampling and all that stuff.

At least this will stick out from the crowd of
"boring" dance and techno ;)

Finished late night 10/10, which happens to be
the compo deadline... I barely finished it in time,
and weren't able to 'polish' it.
Perhaps I'll make a better version of the song later.

There is one thing that is missing completely from the song
that was supposed to be.
The Cruel, Evil, Vicous monster sound in the end.
Since the Pysolimus really is a very nasty and evil monster,
I was going to have a scary monster sample to finish off the song,
just to show that the Newborn Pysolimus isn't ALL cuddly and cosy,
it also has sharp blades that can cut you up in a few seconds.
(grown Pysolimus' can cut you up in less than half a second...)
Unfortunately, at the time of the compo I had a problem with
the input on my soundcard, so I couldn't record anything.
And I couldn't even get anyone else to make me a monster sample,
so in the end I had to settle for what I had...
If you are wondering what kind of monster sound I used as substitute,
pay close attention at the end of the song =)

You may be wondering...

What the ... is a Newborn Pysolimus??
It's a sweet little monster of my own creation,
which I am using in my story about Igor and Gel.
What the &%$?@& is the "story about Igor and Gel"??
That's just a story...You know, I write a story.
...and it's about these characters called Igor and Gel
   ...and there are Pysolimus' in the story...

oh well, here is what you'll find if you look up Pysolimus
in a very extensive encyclopedia:

"The Pysolimus is a fearsome creature.
Its body is made of liquid metal that shines brightly
even in small lightsources.
Normally, a full-grown Pysolimus is about 3 feet long,
and has five six-foot long steel tentacles,
with long sharp blades mounted at the end.
Some individual Pysolimus' develop their own shape on their blades,
one more grotesque than the other.
The Pysolimus eats absolutely anything.
It has a very advanced digestion system that extracts useful molecules
from almost anything.
The Pysolimus' behavior is extremely aggressive.
It will attack anything that moves, and destroy whatever doesn't.
Often when Pysolimus' meet, they challenge each other for a fight,
and the winner takes one of the loser's steel tentacles.
When a Pysolimus acquire extra tentacles, it will also grow in size.
There has been reports of a Pysolimus at the size of a small solar system,
with more than 100.000.000.000 tentacles.
When a Pysolimus has lost all their tentacles,
they will turn into a cocoon, and after a few hundred years,
a new Pysolimus will be born, and the old will die.
Newborn Pysolimus' are only a few inches large,
and has only one tiny steel tentacle.
A Pysolimus require thousands of years reach adulthood.
When the Pysolimus has reached full-grown size, it will live forever,
until it is defeated again.
When a Pysolimus encounter another living organism,
it will not rest until it has defeated and eaten it.
It uses it's steel tentacles with surprising speed and extreme skill,
and it close to invulnerable.
